Christopher Jones, USCG Master

Captain Chris Jones has spent nearly 50 years on and around boats. His extensive marine experience includes commissioning, maintaining and piloting a variety of vessels from Rhode Island to Grenada. His professional experience includes representing several interests in hurricane salvage in the West Indies, and managing a fleet of 18 yachts at the Simpson Bay Yacht Club in St. Maarten. An experienced yacht racer, his racing CV includes a 1st place finish in the world-renowned Heineken Cup sailing race.

Launched by Chris in 1997, NYHS reflects his unmatched reputation for professionalism and excellence. Located on the Morris Canal in New York Harbor, NYHS is easily accessible from Manhattan and most points along the northeast coast. Arrangements with management at most marinas and appropriate insurance policies allow NYHS to work in any marina.
